One day, they both wanted to cross the bridge at the same time. As they met in the middle, they began to argue about who should go first. "I was here first!" bleated the first goat. "But I need to cross too!" protested the second goat.
Their argument escalated, and they pushed each other back and forth. In their frustration, they both lost their balance and tumbled into the river below.
As they splashed in the water, they realized how foolish they had been. They could have simply walked past each other, but their stubbornness had cost them dearly.
Climbing back onto the shore, they agreed to be more understanding in the future. From that day on, whenever they met, they remembered to share the bridge and be kind, avoiding conflicts that could lead to unnecessary trouble.
Moral of this story: Cooperation and understanding are far better than stubbornness and pride.
