The helping hands

Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived two kind children named Ria and Sam. One sunny afternoon, they were walking back home from school when they saw an elderly woman trying to cross the busy street. She looked a little worried as the cars zoomed by.

Ria and Sam looked at each other and knew what to do. "Let's help her!" Sam said, and they quickly walked over to the lady.

"Hello, ma'am," Ria said with a smile. "Would you like us to help you cross the street?"

The elderly woman smiled warmly. "Oh, thank you, dear! That would be wonderful."

The two children held her hands gently and waited for the traffic light to turn red. When it was safe, they carefully walked across the street, guiding the woman.

"Thank you so much," the woman said once they reached the other side. "You two are very kind."

Ria and Sam felt happy and proud. They realized that helping others brings joy to everyone involved.

From that day on, whenever Ria and Sam saw someone in need, they would always lend a helping hand. Because they knew that kindness makes the world a better place.
